Technology and specially information technology has changed almost everyone's lifestyle weather it could be online banking or watching tv online or having chit chat with friends, everyone is using it one way or other. IT is helping us a lot in many ways in Education, Businesses, Medicines and in our daily lives.

Week 7: #16 So what's in a wiki?

So what's not in a wiki! yes because it has got all kind of new information round the c lock. As a library worker new information on our related fields is a must because we need to provide the best service to our customers.Wikies can help us in many ways to improve our skills.

Week 6: #15 On Library 2.0 & Web 2.0

Library 2.0 is stepping into the future and before you know it will be past and we will be in Library 4.0 or 7.0 since our technology is moving so rapidly it's hard to believe that soon we are going to serve 3D images of our patrons on the web, yes just wait and see......

Week 6: #14 Getting not-so-technical with Technorati

In the beginning I couldn't get to understand this tool but after playing around it I actually started to like it. Technorati could help the library workers search for their patrons' needs. It was also fun to claim the blog on Technorati. Searching in keywords or in tag search were kind of close but in blog search it was different (at least for me)

Wow, that was great to have my favorite links on 1 spot. It's like doing one spot shopping.

Library Elf is definitely the thing to rescue busy moms to return their families' library items on time.

Week 4: #8 and #9- Make life "really simple" with RSS and a newsreader

This one was a simple one and really can make our life easier. Talking about the tools, I only liked the bloglines search tool which was easier, simpler and convenient.
